Purpose statement: To be defeated by greater and greater things.

Mary Katherine has called many places home, but claims Huntsville, Alabama as her hometown.  She studied Dance and Psychology at the University of Alabama and went on to  earn a Master of Education degree from Delta State University while teaching fourth grade at Parks Elementary School in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Mary Katherine’s social entrepreneurship project involves using ballroom dance as a vehicle for social and emotional learning to over 300 students across all six elementary schools in the Cleveland School District.

Fun Fact: Mary Katherine lived in Edinburgh, Scotland until age 4, and her most vivid memory from this time is of Slush Puppies at the leisure centre.

Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.
