Lauren Huddleston

Lauren Huddleston is an Academic Designer for Imagine Learning and an instructional coach for Bailey Education Group. Previously, Lauren served as a content specialist for Teach for America-Greater Delta.
Over the past six years, she has trained and developed over 200 teachers in content, pedagogy, and leadership with a literacy emphasis across and within multiple districts, charters, and non-profits. As a leader, Laure has developed a strong working relationship through trust and led teams to increase academic results and leadership. As a classroom teacher, Lauren spent 14 years teaching English in Michigan, Texas, and Mississippi. She is a TFA Detroit 2002 alumna where she was born and raised.
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and History from the University of Michigan and did graduate work at Marygrove College, a private Liberal Arts school in Detroit, where she earned a Master's in the Art of Teaching. While teaching in Texas Lauren earned her certification in Principal Leadership and has held many leadership positions as a teacher and in full-time leadership roles. Lauren also serves as the president of the Jackson Public Schools P-16 Council.
Currently a DSU TFA Graduate Fellow, Lauren is pursuing her EdD in curriculum and instruction. She resides in Jackson with her daughters, Madison (age 19) and Regan (age 14).
